Arabic alphabet, can read the Koran. Why intonation in addition to just knowing the alphabet? Learning intonation is just a recommendation, or necessity?
Intonation is a set of rules for proper pronunciation and reading the Koran. It is supposed to replicate the way the Prophet Muhammad (saws) Quran recitation. Intonation learning means learning how to pronounce the letters in the words correctly, which covers issues such as when a resident silent or not, and when to keep a vowel.
It aims only to recite the Koran, however, does not apply to the term (classical) Arabic.
